Llantrisant is linked with Biloela in the Diocese of Rockhampton Queensland. We regularly exchange e-mails, church magazines and pray for people and events in that parish. There is a box which is placed at the back of each church on a rotational basis, which contains information and copies of e-mails. It has been a privilege to welcome several visitors from there since 2003. 

It is a wonderful reminder that we are all part of one large family, brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world. We have so much to share and much to learn from each other. They like us hold a Christmas tree festival and put together shoe boxes for “Operation Christmas Child”

Our church news is that our minister Des Potter and his wife Joke have been ‘called’ to Shepparton in Victoria. 

It is a city of 30,000 people, 180 klm north of Melbourne. The cooler climate and bigger town will suit them, but they will be missed.

They have been a wonderful support to me when my mother died and during Trevor’s illness.

Our Bishop, Godfrey Fryar will retire at the end of the year. Please pray for Des and Joke as they settle into their new Parish; 

For our Honorary retired minister Revd Bob Witten and his wife Sue;The church wardens and Liturgical Assistants; And for a priest to be called to our parish
